Wednesday, June 26, 2024, BPS Kotamadya Sorong today held a Field Officer Training on Updating Directory of Economic Business/ Enterprise in 2024. The training was opened by the Head of BPS Sorong Municipality, Ms. Rumilah Natratilova, S.Si., M.Ec.Dev..
The training was conducted online for 2 days (June 24 and 25, 2024) through the zoom application with a national instructor, Ms. Tri Rotua Maulina Siagian, S.Pt, MM. This training was carried out to equalize the concepts and definitions used during the data collection later in July 2024.
Updating the Economic Business/Enterprise Directory in 2024 is expected to improve the quality of SBR data in providing an up-to-date business/enterprise database for the preparation of the economic survey master framework and business unit statistical data.
The 2024 Economic Business/Enterprise Directory Updating activity aims to update business/enterprise data that may not have been found in BPS updating or survey activities, clean SBR data from inactive and no longer operating businesses/enterprises, complete the filling of variables that are still empty, and eliminate data duplication.
