Inflation and Consumer Price Index in Sorong Municipality April 2025

In April 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sorong Municipality of 0.12 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.45. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 2.59 percent; the health group by 4.40 percent; the transportation group by 1.13 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 1.69 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.32 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 3.00 percent.
