Abstract

Papua Barat Daya's exports in May 2024 increased by 15.67 percent compared to April 2024, from US$ 4.43 million to US$ 5.12 million.

Mineral fuels (HS27) was the group of goods that had the largest export value in Papua Barat Daya in May 2024, amounting to US$ 3.82 million or 74.49 percent of total exports of Papua Barat Daya.

Malaysia is the largest export destination country of Southwest Papua with an export value of US$ 3.82 million with a contribution of 74.49 percent.

Papua Barat Daya exports in May 2024 through 2 (two) seaports and 2 (two) air ports.

Papua Barat Daya imports in May 2024 increased 100.00 percent compared to April 2024, from no import notification note to US$ 4.37 million.

Wheat (HS10) was the only class of goods imported by Southwest Papua in May 2024, amounting to US$ 4.37 million or 100.00 percent of total imports of Papua Barat Daya.

Thailand was the only country of origin of Papua Barat Daya's imports in May 2024, amounting to US$ 4.37 million or 100.00 percent of total imports of Papua Barat Daya.

Papua Barat Daya's trade balance in May 2024 experienced a surplus of US$ 0.76 million. When viewed from the volume of trade balance, Papua Barat Daya also experienced a surplus of 2.40 thousand tons.
