Pada hari Senin, 8 Juli 2024, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Sorong menggelar Apel Pagi di halaman depan kantor. Apel pagi dipimpin langsung oleh Kepala BPS Kota Sorong, Ibu Rumilah Natratilova,S.Si., M.Ec.Dev..

Apel pagi dilaksanakan setiap hari senin dan jumat oleh seluruh pegawai BPS Kota Sorong, disertai dengan menyanyikan Mars Statistik selain lagu kebangsaan kita, yaitu Indonesia Raya, yang dinyanyikan dengan penuh semangat.
